Smiles Door-to-Door provides oral care to the elderly in care homes.

This new national Dutch project, implemented by the Ivoren Kruis, aims to improve the oral health of vulnerable elderly people in the Netherlands.

Gerodent is an oral health care project which has implemented a preventive and curative oral health care program in a network of 40 nursing homes in Belgium (Flanders) since 2010.

This is a multi-faceted programme aimed at promoting better oral health of both the elderly and those with special needs in care homes.

Run by the British Dental Health Foundation, this campaign raises awareness of mouth cancer, its risk factors and the need for early diagnosis.
