Why oral health matters

The link with non-communicable diseases and the health determinants agenda

The Platform for Better Oral Health in Europe will be launching our Manifesto in the European Parliament on 3 December, during an event hosted by MEP Jane Brophy (UK, Renew Europe).

Coming after The Lancet’s latest publication “Oral diseases: a global public health challenge” in July 2019, our Manifesto answers the question of why oral health matters for the next next political mandate of the European Commission and highlights the links between oral health and other diseases such as cancer.
