JA-CHRODIS, the EU Joint Action on Chronic Diseases just published its July newsletter.

The focus is on health promotion and primary intervention and their role in tackling the burden of chronic diseases in Europe. in particular, the newsletter introduces the work of Europe’s leading network on health promotion, EuroHealthNet, and maps out what is happening and needed in health promotion in 14 countries.

The Platform for Better Oral Health in Europe is a Collaborating Partner on two of the Joint Action work packages and is particularly active on the issue of health promotion and prevention through the Work Package #5 entitled “Good practices in health promotion and prevention of chronicity”.
