The Platform for Better Oral Health in Europe welcomes the European Commission’s Beating Cancer Plan, a new European plan to fight cancer and to support Member States in improving cancer control and care.

This new policy paper highlights the priorities and recommendations that we believe will be key to developing integrated health promotion and preventive strategies to address the main determinants of the disease and reduce the incidence of oral cancer in Europe.

Furthermore, we set out a number of recommendations for the European institutions, including the Commission, the Parliament and the Council, to support and promote measures for better oral health.
