Who we are Clone
The Platform for Better Oral Health in Europe is a multi-stakeholder initiative uniting experts, professionals, and organisations committed to improving oral health across the continent.
We serve as a voice for the oral health community, working together to promote its recognition as an essential component of overall health and well-being.
The Platform’s mission is to advance oral health, champion cost-effective disease prevention, and highlight its role in boosting overall health and tackling health inequalities across Europe.
To achieve this, the Platform seeks to:
Ensure that oral health is included in relevant European policy initiatives and research programmes.
Become the go-to partner across a wide variety of oral health-related topics.
Raise European and national decision-makers awareness of the need for public health policies across Europe to promote better oral health, prevent oral diseases and reduce oral health inequalities.
Adopt policy recommendations to support the achievement of Universal Health Coverage and SDG Goal 3, including ensuring access for all EU citizens to affordable quality oral health care.
Encourage sharing and adoption of best practices in oral health across European countries, through our members and partnerships.
