Associate Member Day 2017
On 4 December, the Platform for Better Oral Health in Europe hosted its annual Associate Member Day in Brussels.
This meeting was the occasion for the Platform’s Board Members to present the renewed Platform’s strategy, as well as to gather very useful feedback on the two work strands the Platform is currently pursuing:
- Inclusion of oral health indicators in future EU publications;
- Establish a thematic library for best practices in oral health.
The meeting also featured an intervention from Sir Graham Watson, a former UK MEP, who presented Associate Members with insights from his time as a policy-makers and shared tips and tricks when engaging with European policy-makers.
The Associate Members then went on to a tour of the European Parliament, to get a first-hand view and experience of one of the key interlocutors of the Platform.
